The Purple Dead Nettle Oil infusion process commences today, blending dehydrated leaves with sweet almond oil. This treatment is beneficial for soothing itchy bug bites and eczema. The infusion process will take roughly six weeks to complete.

Continuing my Purple Dead Nettle backyard foraging project, I created tinctures today that will be ready in 4-6 weeks. Medications are not limited to store-bought products.

Today's foraging expedition in my backyard yielded Purple Dead Nettle, which I intend to use to create a natural oil for treating eczema. Purple Dead Nettle is also known for its efficacy in treating allergies and insect bites, and can be prepared in a variety of forms, including teas, tinctures, and salves. It is crucial to correctly identify Purple Dead Nettle, which has heart-shaped leaves, to distinguish it from Henbit, whose leaves are circular.
