There’s nothing better than when CFIT alumni stop by!
We enjoyed an informal visit from several CFIT alumni who now work with Medtronic EP. While they were in town, they took time to reconnect with faculty and current students, share their experiences, and catch up with the CFIT community.

One of the best parts of the CFIT community is seeing our graduates come back and pour into the next generation of cardiac device specialists.
We loved having a CFIT graduate back in the lab, sharing knowledge, offering guidance, and helping current students grow in their skills. The CFIT experience extends far beyond graduation, and we’re grateful for the connections that continue to make our program special!

Our CFIT students had the opportunity to apply their knowledge of anatomy in a meaningful, hands-on learning experience. We’re thankful for the collaboration with Harding University’s Physical Therapy program and for the opportunity to learn alongside our Harding community.

Learning to care for patients means understanding more than what happens inside the hospital.
CFIT students joined other health professional students for an Interprofessional Education (IPE) Poverty Simulation—an experience designed to build empathy, communication, and a deeper understanding of the challenges that can impact a person’s health and access to care.
Working alongside students from different health professions gave our students the opportunity to see how collaboration and perspective can make a difference when caring for the whole person.
