The Unique Leadership Program has been changing lives since 2004, empowering many young girls/young ladies each year through encouragement, education, and real world skills. From leadership workshops and debates to sisterhood building meetups and fun field trips, UNIQUE is a safe and powerful space where young women grow, lead, and thrive.

Unique today we celebrate Happy Mother’s Day to all of the women who help shape your lives. 💕
Today can bring up many different emotions. Some of you may have a mother who is your best friend, biggest supporter, and safe place. Others may have relationships with their mothers that feel difficult, distant, complicated, or painful. Both experiences are real and valid.
No relationship is perfect, but many mothers are carrying heavy responsibilities while trying to love, provide, protect, and guide the best way they know how. Sometimes love is shown imperfectly. Sometimes healing and understanding take time.
Today, we encourage you to lead with gratitude, grace, and compassion where you can. Celebrate the women who show up, support you, pray for you, encourage you, and help you grow — whether that is your mother, grandmother, aunt, bonus mom, mentor, or another caring woman in your life.
Honor the effort. Honor the love. Honor the journey. 🌷

I try to teach my Unique girls, if someone knows something you want to know or is doing something you want to do, REACH OUT!!! If they act funny or don’t want to be helpful, keep it moving and find someone else who’s doing it!! At the end of the day, you WIN!! (lol, advice to self)
