Pretty awesome trip today with the crazy crew from Generator Service Center of Humble!! OMG! A few first timers and a visit from TPWD in n the water! We even had them laughing!!! Great team building event!!! And caught a few for the grease!!!

Talk about an emotional roller coaster today! It was definitely Friday the 13th! First of all, the boat didn’t start at the launch, luckily I had a spare battery and swapped it right out…. Then, when my customers got there, someone accidentally took their lunches and their beers thinking it was theirs (honest mistake).

We hit our first stop and caught a keeper right off the bat…. Then nada! So we hit the next spot and it produced ONE BITE, but that bite was a Stud Redfish! Then we headed to the total opposite end of the bay, and we caught up with the guys that had the lunches and beers! And then BAM! A Stud Trout! Then nada, again! We ground it out and tried to get a few more fish in the box, but it was just brutal today…. In the end, we ended up winning First Place Big Redfish (8.7 lbs) and Second Place Big Trout (4.15 lb) in the 2022 IEC Tournament

Oh but wait! Then I got a flat on my trailer on the way to the weigh in! Damn, Friday the 13th wasn’t playing this year, but Thank you Jesus for taking care of us and also providing some awesome fish for us!!!

Great day on the water yesterday! Took out the Garcias to spend the day fishing and trying to catch his son’s first redfish for his birthday! Despite the recent windy conditions and a tough bite, we managed to scratch together a decent box. Caught plenty of fish and were able to keep a few for dinner! Congratulations Little Mike on your first Texas Redfish, and Happy Birthday!!

There are a few kind of people in this world! The ones that don't know what happened, the ones that wanna know what happened, and the ones that make s**t happen!! I'm very blessed to be a part of a team that makes s**t happen!!! These guys are always the ones that make sure I stay safe on the water!!! Thank you so much for making sure my boat is always on point!!! I had a small mishap on the water yesterday, these guys had me up and running before I even got the boat home!!!

Last couple of trips... Spring time fishing is here! Good to finally have some decent weather!!

Definitely my funnest trip this year! Took 7 year old Jackson "Action Jackson" and 6 year old Eli and their Dada's... we caught fish starting with the first cast this morning! The boys caught their first Spec's, they reeled in every fish that was hooked. They took turns reeling and netting their own fish all morning. Double hooked up on some sharks, plenty of d***s, a few keepers for dinner and a heck of a funny good time... Wore the boys plumb out! The wind was howling early, but it ended up being an action packed morning!

Waterloo Rods puttin' in work on a Galveston Bay Jack fish! Might as well fish the best! 45 minutes on the trolling motor and no giving up by either party... saw the fish by the boat quite a few times and finally the line snapped, let it swim away to fight another day! We went back to catching fish the rest of the morning.....

Great Spring Break this year! Lots of smiling faces and good times.... Galveston Bay fishing at it's finest.....

My regulars from IPS Group stayed focused today on a tough bite. We gave it heck, and ended up with a decent mixed box of Sheepshead, Redfish and a couple of trout. Always fun fishing with these guys.....
