Thank You Keystone College, Lions Club Wrestling, and Summit Wrestling Club! Some of these ladies are experienced wrestlers (like the 2 from West Scranton Junior Wrestling Club, Ella and Molly) and some have never been on the mat before. Girls from all over the area came out for an Girls Wrestling Open House!

Due to the overwhelming show of support, we have begun to reconsider our decision to stop coaching with the West Scranton Junior Wrestling Club. We want you all to know that the West Scranton Junior Wrestling Club is NOT a part of West Scranton Wrestling Alumni Association Junior Wrestling in any way, shape or form. This decision was made by the current board members of the West Scranton Junior Wrestling Club, the elementary wrestling club that has served our youth for more than 40 years. We are not 100% sure of what this season will hold, as there is a lot of discussion that needs to happen. We do know that we can not provide a free club, but we can provide quality wrestling, life lessons, along with so much more, as we have in the past. Please, feel free to tell us your thoughts! We will keep you, our wrestling family updated every step of the way.
With all of that being said, we are asking that if your child (ages 5-12, grades K-6) is still interested in wrestling for West Scranton Junior Wrestling Club, please comment below, or send us a private message. Share with your friends, ask if there is still interest. Get the word out!

There's still time to register for this!! This is the perfect opportunity for girls to learn about wrestling, get a small taste of the sport, meet some new friends, and gain confidence!

Eight West Scranton Jr Club members and former members went to the MAWA Northern Regional Tournament this weekend in Bloomsburg. Of those 8, 4 are moving on to Eastern Nationals, including BOTH our girls! Everyone wrestled well, worked hard, and had a ton of fun! Congratulations to those moving on! We will be cheering for you in Maryland!!
