Two years ago on today's date we released our album Lemuria!

Our next Astro gig is Tomorrow 4/17 at Guild Hall, Swoyersville PA with The Squonks, ACID RAT, Sweetnest & Into Sunday, doors at 5 n Astro's on first at 6pm, DM any of the groups for the address!
Tonight I'll be playing bass with Jim Barrett & The Dirty Souls at Jack's Draft House, Scranton PA 7-9pm!
This has been a tremendous stretch of shows lately, art sales have been up as well, very thankful for it and really looking forward to playing the next 2 night's gigs. Between those, the marathon last Sunday n the open mic I swang thru last night that makes 4 performances this week!

Had a really great time playing alongside the route of the Scranton Half Marathon yesterday, played without pause for 2 n a half hours straight trying to keep up with the runners!
This Friday April 17th we'll be performing as part of a super stacked bill with ACID RAT Sweetnest Into Sunday & The Squonks at the legendary DIY venue Guild Hall in Swoyersville PA, doors at 5 music at 6, DM for address if you don't already know!

The galactic gentleman Astronauto returns to Brooklyn this Friday April 3rd 7pm at Purgatory for the next I Dream Of Wires showcase also featuring space disco queen Orion and synth diva Polly Vinyl Chloride, ticket link in comments! With all three acts coming in from 3 different states (PA, RI, NY) we're going to synthesize one of the most interesting nights of electronic sounds that the North East US has to offer!

See you this Friday, March 6 at The Next Chapter in Huntington NY 7pm for a very special show celebrating the 10th anniversary of the first Astro album! We'll be performing the album in it's entirety with some special guests and have an excellent lineup on the bill featuring Polly Vinyl Chloride, Kevin Gaughan & Gina Marie Marchese, we'll also have the Astro art on display, and hand decorated CDs available!

Ten years ago on today's date we released a very weird 2 hour 1 second improvised experimental instrumental piece of music called "Golden Egge", link & liner notes description in comments! Conceiving and creating this one had a profound impact on my music making and creativity.
Speaking of ten year anniversaries, Friday March 6, 7pm at The Next Chapter in Huntington NY we'll be having a very special show to celebrate the release anniversary of the first Astronauto album, which turned 10 as well last month!
We'll be performing the record in it's entirety with a star studded cast of special guests alongside an excellent bill featuring sets by Polly Vinyl Chloride (who produced & engineered both Astronauto I and Golden Egge, as well as graciously helping put together this show), Kevin Gaughan & Gina Marie Marchese!
Truly looking forward to this one. If you check out Golden Egge or the first Astro album I hope you enjoy and appreciate you listening. See you out there!

10 years ago on today's date in 2016 we released the first Astronauto record. Fun fact I still own both the sweater and the guitar from the front cover. Feels like the songs on the album are just as relevant to my life as they were a decade ago, which means I've either created a timeless record or have been going around in circles like one, maybe a bit of both. Just as I wrote and sung back then "nothing ends, it changes over and over and over again"
Join us Friday March 6 at the incredibly appropriately named Next Chapter in Huntington NY for the 10th anniversary celebration show where we will be performing Astronauto I in it's entirety for the very first time, amongst one of the coolest bills we've had the privilege of being on.
In the meantime I'll be at Paddy Quinn's in Flushing Queens NY with the band fri Feb 13, and have a pair of Dirty Soul gigs next weekend (Jan 30 Andy Gavins Scranton PA, Jan 31 Edmonton Lounge in Clarks Summit PA), see you out there!

We're psyched and honored to be part of it, and it's been a blast practicing and preparing a set which highlights my sideways songwriting, demented guitar playing and over all skewed outlook on the world.
