NEPA Gives 2026 was our biggest giving day yet! 💚

In just 24 hours, more than 7,800 donors helped raise over $1.6 million for 400+ nonprofit organizations across Northeastern Pennsylvania. Thanks to nearly $300,000 in bonus funds, matching gifts, and incentive prizes, participating nonprofits were able to maximize their impact.

Since launching in 2020, NEPA Gives has raised more than $8.3 million for local causes.

Step back into a powerful chapter of history on June 8 as Women in Philanthropy and The Lackawanna Historical Society present an evening dedicated to the women’s suffrage movement and the story of the Justice Bell. 🔔

This community event will feature a screening of "Finding Justice: The Untold Story of Women’s Fight for the Vote," a compelling documentary about the women who traveled across all 67 Pennsylvania counties in 1915 advocating for voting rights.

Guests will also enjoy a live Q&A with filmmaker and Justice Bell Foundation Executive Director Amanda Owen, along with complimentary light refreshments.

Because of you, $42,000 in grants will support women, girls, and families across Northeastern Pennsylvania. ✨

At the 2026 Women in Philanthropy Spring Grants Meeting, supporters came together to hear from inspiring nonprofit leaders and help shape funding decisions that will make a real impact in our community.

We warmly remember and celebrate the life and legacy of Dorrance Belin, a devoted community leader whose generosity and commitment to Northeastern Pennsylvania left a lasting impact.

A former member and Chair of the Foundation’s Board, Dorrance helped guide the organization’s growth and strengthen philanthropy across our region.

We are deeply grateful for Dorrance’s leadership, service, and love for this community. His legacy will continue to inspire our work for years to come.
