You know it’s been a great day when you only manage to snap a few photos at an event as special as this one! 🐾☀️
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to BARK BASH yesterday—whether you brought your four-legged best friend or joined us with friends to enjoy a beautiful day in the community. Together, we supported amazing local businesses and helped raise money for the Scranton Spay & Neuter Division (formerly the EPAA low cost clinic) at Nay Aug Park.
We’re so grateful for everyone who helped make the day a success and can’t wait to do it again next year. 💛🐶🐱
Every historic building has a story to tell. 🏢✨
The former Scranton Lace Company has inspired plenty of local legends over the years. Today, we’re proud to be adding a new chapter as Lace Village—a vibrant community full of life, neighbors, and new memories.

Threads of history, woven right here in Scranton 🧵
At the Pennsylvania Anthracite Heritage Museum, the lace production exhibit brings to life the craftsmanship and innovation that once made this city a hub for textile manufacturing. From intricate looms like this Nottingham lace machine (c. 1880) to the detailed pattern systems that guided each design, every piece tells a story of skill, precision, and local pride.
These machines didn’t just create lace… They built an industry, a workforce, and a legacy that still shapes our community today.
We’re so grateful that the Anthracite Heritage Museum is sharing a glimpse into the roots of lace-making that connect so closely to Lace Village and Scranton’s rich history.
Keep an eye out for more to come from this incredible exhibit! 👀😉
