Thank you to everyone who supported me in my run for Scranton City Council, especially those who volunteered time to my campaign. Your hard work is very much appreciated. 15 minutes ago ECTV announced they will be unable to videotape the city council meeting this evening. City Council is looking for someone to use ECTV's AV equipment and tape the meeting in ECTV's place. If you know how to work AV equipment and can make it to the council meeting tonight at 6pm, please come and help out.

Scranton City Council will hold an emergency meeting Thursday, August 4th at 6:00 p.m. in council chambers. I encourage you to come out and speak on city issues, particularly if you are concerned with the proposed layoff of Scranton City Police and Firefighters.
