The Wood Router

Prepping wood for later carving. A sealant containing wax is spread on the surfaces of a wood disc immediately after it is cut. The wax mixture slows down the drying process and prevents the wood from splitting and/or cracking. It takes approximately 9 months - 1 year until the wood discs are dry enough for carving.

I have a number of blanks for custom carved signs; 2hearts with arrows, large ribbon, small ribbon, Christian, dog bone,an awesome “Born to Ride” eagle and more. I also will try to accommodate special requests. Prices for personalized existing blanks run from $12-$45.00 (Born to Ride) (motorcycles). All are hand carved and finished. For larger signs, I charge $35.00 a square foot depending upon sign detail and colors. Personal and business customers are welcome.
