From four green fields aboard ships to the west; to the land of the free in the coal mines of sweat; to the steel mills raising the skyline afar, the policeman, the firefighter, the Priest in the war; struggling peacefully we throw in our lot, some return to their homes, yet many have not.
Ancient Order of Hibernians, AOH Div. 4 Scranton,PA will conduct a meeting on Wednesday,January 3rd at 6:pm at Kilcoyne’s Tavern. Man of the Year will be discussed.
There will be a wreath laying at General Sheridan’s monument at the Lackawanna County Courthouse on the corner of Biden and Adams Avenue on Saturday, October 28th at 12:15pm. There will also be a reenactor dressed as General Sheridan talking about his life and the military. All are invited to attend.
