UPSIDE would like to celebrate Juneteenth! Juneteenth is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. Although Juneteenth has recently become a federal holiday, this day has been an important part of history for many Black Americans as it highlights the struggles uniquely faced and overcome by Black individuals in the United States.
