We"re sorry to keep you all waiting so long. But in the time we've been a band, we've been through absolute hell.
And that's what this album is about, that's what this album means to us.
Plus, in the time we weren't releasing music, we were still WRITING music... so we have a lot of songs that are being queued up, ready to go, for future planned releases 👀
But let's talk about this one ✨️
We are so grateful to have this album and to have such a wonderful community around us. Being in this band genuinely means the world to us and having even just one supporter, playing just one show is everything. We are absolutely ecstatic to release this full length LP into the wild. 🐀
Thank you all for being here for us. Thank you all for being here with us. Thank you all for the endless support, kindness, and love you've shown us. We wouldn't be here without you. 💙
Being a rat means being uniquely yourself despite everything else. It means getting through the toughest times in the most genuine version of yourself. It means existing, eating cheese and chilling, because you don't care what the world thinks of you. 🐀
Our music itself refers to what we call, the raw human experience. 🔮
The raw human experience being nobody knows what you've been through, and if they do, it's still particular to you and your story. The experience being the most inexplicable, crazy s**t you've been through (because I know if I tried to explain my life story, I wouldn't know where to start). The experience also being the awareness of what's going on in the world outside of our safety. The raw human experience details being a human. It's just being human in the most authentic way.
We stand for, believe in, and embody the raw human experience.
We'll explain more of that later.
You'll be able to hear exactly what we mean very soon.
Anyway, we love you all so so much.
We hope our music can be there for people they way it's been there for us. 🎶
