Kindergarten Tux & Drape Sessions in Studio

Schedule your Kindergartener in the comfort of our studio for a Tux or Drape session to capture your child's milestone in life. (Tux and Drape provided.)

Sessions are $125 and include one 11x14 print, 2 5x7 prints and all digital images in high-resolution format with copyright release via online download. Session is approximately 30 minutes.

The Portrait Collection is now accepting bookings for our Spring Minis Session inside the comfort of our studio in Scottsboro on Saturday, March 21st.

Appointments are required through the link below. A $95 session fee is due upon booking, which includes 15 minutes in our studio, plus 20 high-resolution edited digital images with copyright release via digital download.

SEASONAL SESSIONS | The Portrait Collect Below is a list of seasonal sessions offered at The Portrait Collection. These are mostly mini sessions either in our studio, outdoors, or on-location.

The Portrait Collection is looking to add one or two more schools to its list for school photography this coming school year 2026-2027. If you know of a school that may be in need of a new school photographer, please email [email protected]. We are a small operation with more than 30 years of photography experience, with more than 10 years of that in schools. Ideally, our schools are located in Jackson/DeKalb/Marshall counties, however, we will consider schools outside these areas if it is a good fit for us and the school.
While we offer a lot of services to a lot of customers, you deal directly with the photographer from scheduling, to picture day, customer relations and beyond. The way it should be!

The highly anticipated BB Comer Bridge magnets arrive two weeks ahead of schedule. These magnets are on sale through the end of February. There are a limited number available. This newly designed BB Comer Bridge magnet is a must have for those who loved the bridge, once spanning across the Tennessee River in Scottsboro, Alabama! Great as a gift for friends and family, a historic keepsake or souvenir for visitors to Jackson County. This 2"x1.25" magnet is currently on sale while pre-orders are being taken through February. Inspired by a photograph taken of the BB Comer Bridge, the magnet was hand designed by local photographer Brent Miller to preserve the memory of the bridge.

Congratulations to the Scottsboro Wildcats on their 16-14 win over Fairview in the third round of the AHSAA playoffs!

Kicking off the second half with Scottsboro leading 21-0 over St. Clair County in the second round of the playoffs!

The Portrait Collection will be taking Santa Portraits at Nelson Primary and Caldwell Elementary this month.
Nelson Primary is scheduled for Monday, November 17th. Deadline to register and place the deposit is Nov. 15th.
Caldwell Elementary is scheduled for Wednesday, November 19th. Deadline to register and place the deposit is Nov. 17th.

A deposit is required to have photos taken with Santa. The deposit applies to your order for prints or digital images if ordered by Dec. 31st.

Earlier this year The Portrait Collection photographed two North Sand Mountain School state qualifiers in their new uniforms for the upcoming 2025-2026 season. Here are a few photos to show off their new singlets. Good luck to the returning state qualifiers and the rest of the Bison this season!

Had a great session in the studio over the weekend with these two guys! One is an exchange student from Denmark, attending Grissom High School, along with his host brother. We learned that keeping a straight face was more difficult than you would think!
