Wow, what a great half-hour I just spent talking softball with Northeast Alabama Community College Northeast Alabama Community College Athletics National Champion and All-American Addie Edwards. I am going to get the interview posted in the WWIC Radio podcast files later this evening. I also have commitments for interviews with a few other players (names to be released later). Congratulations ladies!
Over the last 24 hours I’ve seen two social media posts from high school athletes in Alabama announcing their transfers to new schools. Is this the start of the high school transfer portal? Is high school NIL next? Are we now entering a “win at all cost” phase in high school athletics?
