We fed a community! 🫓 Thanks to our generous donors, 500 pupusas were purchased and approximately 250 people were fed in two churches in Ciudad Arce, El Salvador and Santa Tecla, El Salvador.

People came to take part in kids and moms activities, hear preaching, and eat a free meal. We shared Jesus with so many Salvadoran friends, including sponsored families we know and love and also community members we hadn’t met before. It was a great day and night event filled with learning and fellowship.

Thank you, thank you for supporting this outreach event. We praise Jesus for the opportunity to plant seeds of hope within everyone who attended. 🌱

There's no better way to close out serving our local school than to help fill the stomachs of some of the most important members of our community...our school kids. 12 school families have fuller stomachs thanks to the help of our amazing partners at Schulenburg ISD who help Led + Fed provide food bags to school children and parents who need the extra resource.

And P.S. even though school won't be in session, the mission continues. Keep an eye out for our summer initiatives!

He is risen!

Without the resurrection there is no Gospel message.
There is no life.
There is no hope.

All of our faith, our callings, our service…they all stem from this most-important event in all of history.

Hallelujah He was raised!
Hallelujah for His sacrifice!
Hallelujah that we have eternal life through Him!

We served hamburgers and hot dogs to 50 members of the community. Students leaving school, athletes finishing up track practice, families happy to find a free meal, adults passing through…it was a good day!

This is what this community looks like. 🫂

God has given us a vision for Schulenburg and beyond: Feeding people both spiritually and physically so that communities can be led into relationship with Him. In Acts 2:42-47 we see a picture of the early Church with believers serving one another, breaking bread, praying, providing support, and giving to anyone who had need. There was a unity rooted in love for those whom God brought to the table. God brought many to the table at our first Community Table event, from the attendees to those who came to volunteer, and we know He will continue to grow the Kingdom through this opportunity.

Consider how God can use this community—you included—for greater things. 💟

Woot woot! We delivered our first set of food bags this week! 🎉 Each of these will be given to local families with school-aged children in an effort to nourish our community’s most precious resource—our kiddos.

Thank you so much to the amazing personnel at Schulenburg Independent School District who helped Led + Fed implement this programming. Together we are battling hunger and providing food for good. 🫱🏽‍🫲🏼

We are also grateful to the Texas Women’s League for awarding a grant to Led + Fed in support of this hunger relief effort. They believe in our mission of providing food bags to school families because no child deserves to go to bed hungry. A partnership like theirs is transformative for our organization’s involvement in the community.
