It went from Galvanized steel (that would rust at a rapid rate and was not nearly as durable) to Galvalume (which is a staple in the business. Produced 100% from recycled material. Not only is it used on most exposed metal roofing but, it is a core material for most colored metal material as well. In short, if it is metal, chances are it contains Galvalume).
