We have kittens ready for adoption at Homes for Pets/Schertz Humane Society. Adoption fee is $125; all kittens are sterilized, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated for the first year, treated for fleas and worms. These kittens have grown up in foster homes. Here is a sample of the kittens available now. We have more ready every day/week.

Zelda has a personality bigger than her whiskers! Playtime is her favorite sport and she fully expects her humans to participate. Toys are fun, but chasing you through the house is even better. She will sprint to wherever youre headed, then launch a surprise play attack when you arrive. Trying to leave when shes not ready to say goodbye? Dont be shocked if you suddenly acquire a furry ankle bracelet complete with claws. Toss a toy in the air and Zelda transforms into a tiny acrobat, soaring upward with her infamous murder mittens fully activated.

But beneath all that chaos-cat energy is an affectionate little engine of love. The second you sit down, Zelda is likely to leap into your lap for cuddles, pets, and purrs loud enough to rival a lawn mower. Shes equal parts gremlin and sweetheart, wrapped in fur and powered entirely by zoomies.

Rescue is hard. When this little face looked up at me and did a soft meow, my heart shattered. I pet this little babies head and he closed his little eyes like it’s the first time he felt safe and loved.

Took him to the vet to give him a chance at life. Right before going into surgery to clean his wounds and remove maggots his little body couldn’t take it anymore and he peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge.

He is why support and donations are so important. It doesn’t just help with the normal thousands of dollars in vet bills, it helps give the ones fighting for their life a chance. I wanted him to live so bad but he left this life of suffering behind! Rest in peace little one. 6/13/2026🌈🐾

🚨Foster Needed: Garage Squatters Edition 🚨

These two little garage squatters wandered into someone’s garage and promptly decided they’d found their new home. Unfortunately, they skipped an important step… asking permission from the current residents. 😹

Now they’re looking for a foster home where they can hang out safely while we help them find permanent accommodations.
If you have room for a pair of friendly squatters who promise to pay rent in purrs, head boops, and entertainment, please let us know!

This handsome, tiny doodle bop was just rescued by a good Samaritan and is going home to a foster right now!!

We are raising money this month for all of our sweet fosters. We are an all volunteer group that works straight from the heart. Any donation you can send our way is greatly appreciated and extremely helpful to our cause!
