Schenectady City School District Everybody Counts. Everybody Learns.

International Guerrilla Gardening Sunflower Day on May 1st is a real thing that began over 10 years ago. We have been making Sunflower seed balls to participate in this endeavor on Sunday.

Make sunflower seed balls at our Arbor Day event tomorrow at Vale Farm (12-2) and take them to dry or leave them. And/Or meet us in the parking lot at SiCM, 837 Albany St, Sunday, May 1, 10-11:30 am, and we'll spread out from there to seed Schenectady with Sunflowers! We have plenty made already.

Then, fingers crossed, in a couple of months, look for Sunflowers blooming around the city, cleaning the soil and bringing some cheer.
