We have taken your feedback to heart and acknowledge that the rough has become challenging enough to prompt consideration of its impact on your game. In all honesty, our investment in a new irrigation system two years ago has yielded significant improvements. Areas that were previously struggling now boast lush, vibrant grass, akin to the finer golf courses. While the height of the grass remains consistent with our standards, the increased thickness can make play more demanding. Nonetheless, we are committed to enhancing the golfing experience one well-manicured blade at a time. A moderate penalty is an inherent part of the game, serving as a reminder that good shots should be rewarded while less successful ones encourage reflection. We take pride in our course conditions, meticulously maintaining every aspect, including those areas not immediately visible. We appreciate your patronage and look forward to your enjoyment of the game in all its facets, including the challenges presented by the rough.

Applications for the Men’s Schenectady Classic held June 19-21 and the Nancy Kroll Championship held June 19-20 are currently being accepted. Get yours in today and secure a spot in the field for these great events!

Now that the weather's nicer than a golfer's handicap, we're throwing open the doors and teeing off earlier than expected! Sunday April 12 is the big day, and Mayor McCarthy will be taking the first swing for the 2026 season. After that, it's your turn, so grab your clubs! We're pretty jazzed about it and hope you are too!

We can't stop grinning about our 2026 season opening - save the date, it's Wednesday, April 15. Fingers crossed you're as jazzed as we are. Quick reminder, during our first week, we're going old school walking only to keep our course looking like a postcard.

It was a beautiful day today. Days like this, bring us one step closer to opening the course.

Unfortunately, so far this Spring, we have had to remove people from the golf course on multiple occasions for hitting golf balls, playing, individuals even have push carts 🤦‍♂️

Now many might say, what is the big deal? Well the big deal is that the golf
Course is not open. Yet. It will be soon enough. Another big deal is the grass isn’t fully in growing mode this Spring. Which means that all divots
Created, will not grow back. The greens (yes even the practice area) are not healthy enough to receive golfers walking upon them. Oh and by the way, it is essentially stealing.

Now, Believe us when we tell you, we are 100% understanding the excitement from getting nice, warm days. Being cooped up all winter long is not fun. But, a little patience is all we ask. Please, stop playing golf on our course until MUNI opens for the season. We do offer free rides in police cars, however we don’t recommend it.
