We are so excited to have Main Street Studio sharing their adventures in their Wild Clay project.
Stop by to see examples of local clay, learn about the geology and history behind our area's clay deposits, and try making something with wild clay yourself!

Alumni Spotlight! Maeve Baksa is a mechanical engineer, maker, and an avid tinkerer with a habit of turning “small upgrades” into full-scale engineering projects. Her work focuses on 3D printing, robotics, machine design, and custom hardware/software integration. She has built and modified everything from Voron toolchangers and belt printers to unusual Klipper-powered machines, often writing her own software along the way. Maeve especially enjoys pushing hardware beyond its original purpose, solving weird problems, and building machines that are just a little more complicated than they probably need to be.
Stop by Maeve's 3D Printer Extravaganza table at the Electric City Maker Faire! Expect wires, custom parts, questionable ideas, and hopefully some very cool prints!

MAKER SPOTLIGHT! Stop by and see Sandra Williams's work that shows that
"everything is energy and everything is connected."

Sandra is a painter and sculptor/mixed media artist from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. After her BFA in sculpture from the University Utrecht, she moved to Albany. Here, her and her husband founded and operated Changing Spaces Gallery.
Sandra is now located in Schenectady and has small landscapes at the Schenectady Trading Company as well as bigger works at the Armory. You can find Sandra every month at Art night Schenectady, showing at Galleries and making work on commission. She is always open to expanding her work and is looking forward to being in the upcoming Discard Avant Garb fashion show in Albany on October 11th, where she will be showing a dress made out of recycled materials!

Maker Spotlight! Visit Alex Graziano at the Alex Creates table and learn about the process of turning plastic waste into new products!

Alex Graziano has an Associate's Degree in mechanical engineering at Hudson Valley Community College and an Entrepreneur certificate from Schenectady County Community College.

We're honored to have Kathy Ceceri, an award-winning writer, educator, and Maker, back at the Electric City Maker Faire this year! Build a giant pyramid! Create colorful paper quilling! Make a paper circuit to light up your own artwork!

Stop by the Children's Museum at Saratoga booth to discover the wonderful world of robotics! Explore and play with Ozobots, robots designed to follow the paths that you make for them. Watch the Ozobots speed up, slow down, and even spin around -- it all depends on how you program them. Stop by the Museum's table to learn through play!
