Jimy just picked up the saxophone… in his 80s.
He’s been working on guitar with us, and recently decided he wanted to try something new. So we started blending it into his lessons, learning to play along with a blues tune.
No pressure. No expectations. Just learning, exploring, and enjoying the process.
This is what music should feel like. It’s not about age, and it’s not about where you start. It’s about having the right guidance and the freedom to grow.
We’ve also expanded into woodwinds and strings, so students can explore instruments like saxophone, flute, clarinet, violin, viola, and cello as part of their musical path.
Jimy’s a great reminder, it’s never too late to start.

This is one of our adult performance groups, who proudly named themselves The Hip Replacements, working on a tune called Chasing Cars.
Moments like this are why we love what we do. Watching real people, with real lives and busy schedules, bring something to life together is pure joy.

When a student says, ‘I’m enjoying just listening and playing without needing music,’ and ‘I never thought I’d hit this level,’ that’s everything to us.
