Happy New Year. I know you guys have been taking it back to 2016. But I just want to take a moment to reflect on some of my most memorable moments from 2025
1. A rare selfie. I used to try and capture every moment. But lately I barely pull out my phone. I plan to start taking pictures again this year
2. My cousins/besties Mo & Keina came to visit me a few times. This always makes me happy as although it’s been almost 3 years since I’ve moved upstate, I still don’t know many people here aside from my family. I plan to get outside more and make new friends in 2026
3. I bought a Kindle last Summer and spent a lot of time reading by the pool. Looking forward to working through my TBR List this year
4. 5. I took my first cruise, a solo cruise on the Escape to Bermuda, and spent my birthday cruising home. God wiling, I’ll be cruising again this year
6.7. My Sonshine took me to brunch at to celebrate my birthday. Our schedules are different so I don’t get to spend as much time with him as I’d like. I pray we get to spend more time together in 2026
8.9. My family put together a surprise birthday dinner for me at . A time was had
10. I passed the Civil Service Exam for my job last year- #1 on the list, and was appointed Permanent in my position
11.12.13. Moved to the top floor of my building. The new spot is more spacious, quiet & I now have a private balcony instead of the open patio. My plants are loving the extra sunlight from the larger windows. Can’t wait to give y’all a tour
14. I saw lots of shows at including Wicked, Beauty & The Beast, Aladdin & Shucked. Can’t wait to see more shows in 2026
15.16. Bought a new whip after my last car was totaled. I was rear ended on the highway by a driver speeding and not paying attention. Fell in love with this CPO 2023 Civic Touring. My guy Tom at helped me find the perfect car for me
17.18. Thoroughly enjoyed my monthly subscription at . More massages in 2026
19. Thanksgiving with the fam
20. Christmas was littt although I was sick

Bermuda was absolutely breathtaking…
I took a solo cruise on to back in September for my birthday. We almost didn’t make it due to an incoming hurricane. But the hurricane passed and we were able to dock for a day and a half as planned. The weather ended up being beautiful.
On day one, I took the ferry to St George. Then took several buses to explore the island. On day two, I stayed close to the ship and explored the Royal Naval Dock Yard. I was able to visit a lot of the places on my list. But I didn’t have enough time to see everything I wanted to see. It’s all good because God willing, I’ll be back! 🙏🏾
1. View of the Norwegian Escape from the cliffs of the National Museum of Bermuda
2, 3. Bermuda Towne Hall
4. Fantasy Cave…
5, 6. Crystal Cave. The caves were unlike anything I’ve ever seen in life. I was in awe.
7, 8. Fish Sandwich on Raisin Bread at the . Sounds like an odd combo. But they go real good together.
9. Rum Swizzle at the
10, 11. Dark & Stormy Ice Cream at . It was delightful and really captured the essence of Bermuda’s national drink.
12. The buses were very pretty to look at and the drivers drive very fast. I was holding on for dear life 😅
13, 14. Horseshoe Bay Beach is beautiful. I could have spent my entire time there. The pink sand paired with the turquoise water was a vibe. It was a little hard to capture the true color of the sand on camera. But it’s a pretty pale pink.
15. All White Sunset Sail with Unlimited Rum Swizzles on a catamaran. We sailed through the Bermuda Triangle, which was a bit scary, but fun. And I’m still here to tell the tale lol
16. The white chucks took me out. Totally unexpected.
17. I couldn’t leave without trying Fish Chowder, which is Bermuda’s national dish. This Baron West Indian Hot Sauce paired perfectly with the Fish Chowder at . The chowder was bomb!
18, 19. I almost had to run the pier after spending a little too much time at the . It was worth it.
20. A statue in the Slave Trade Exhibit at the
I can’t wait to go back. Have you been to Bermuda?

I have so much to be grateful for today. Most importantly- life. I’ve been having a pretty good year…
I passed my civil service exam for my job and was appointed permanent.
I took a long overdue vacation and went on a solo cruise to Bermuda. It was an amazing time and I’ll be sharing all of the deets soon.
I moved to the top floor of my building and upgraded to a quieter, and slightly larger space.
Life was but a dream…
Until two weeks ago when I was rear ended on the highway by a driver speeding, and not paying attention to the traffic pile up. He sent me flying across two lanes. Thank God I made it out alive and didn’t hit anyone myself. I’m ok. Sort of. That’s still to be determined. But I’m living and breathing, and that’s all that matters right now.
My car was totaled and I’m still working through the settlement, while closing on the sale of my new whip. Stressed is an understatement. But today I’m focusing on all of my blessings.
Life has been lifing and this is why I’ve been MIA. Virtual hugs to all of you guys that’s constantly popping in to say hi and check on me. I appreciate you 🫶🏾
I have so much content to share with you guys as soon as I get settled. But for today- Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy the time with your family and friends, and be grateful for all of your blessings. No matter how small 🙏🏾

Thanks for all of the birthday love. I truly appreciate it. A big shout out to the crew members who made my day special, especially my attendant Nidhi. I came back from the gym and she had decorated my room and made me the cutest towel birthday cake. It’s the little things that make the biggest impact 🙏🏾

Proof of life. Been working hard, minding my business and enjoying my Summer. Building my indoor jungle. Balancing quiet time at home and seeing some outside. Wearing my clothes. Solo dates. Family outings. Meeting new people. Trying to savior the moment as life is so delicate and unpredictable. I pray all of you are well in the current climate of this world. Sending love and prayers 🙏🏾🫶🏾
