We are immersed in everything 70's this month! One day we spent the afternoon listening to hit songs from the 70s and another day was filled with Sports Legends! Our cooking group made Monte Cristo Sandiches and will make Swedish meatballs and 70's Monster Cookies! Remembering foods from the 70's was a blast from the past and made me want tuna casserole!🤣

This Environmental Services Week, we’re proud to recognize our housekeeping teams across Centers Health Care and thank them for the care and pride they bring to our Centers every day.

Today our Residents gathered in their activity room for a 9/11 Memorial. Recreation staffer, Elizabeth Thompsom, worked very hard to pull together pictures, statistics, a timeline and music for an hour of remembrance for those fallen. Our Residents were free to talk about their memories of that day... where they were and what they were doing. It was a touching and emotional afternoon.

Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage of the first responders, service members, and everyday people who stepped forward to help others.

At Centers Health Care, we join communities across the country in remembering those we lost and the strength and compassion shown in the days that followed. 🇺🇸
