We would like to thank everyone who attended the PCC Contracting 2021 Safety Conference held Saturday at The Desmond Hotel Albany. Safety is priority number one at PCC Contracting. We strive yearly to inform and educate the hard-working people who put their safety at risk daily.
Lorraine LaRock from Capital EAP gave an orientation on a new program, The Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
Jon VanRaalte, Industrial Hygienist from Occupational Environmental Health Center trained employees on one of our biggest concerns, silica exposure as well as COVID reviews.
Alan Snow of KB Sales and Dylan Demers of Colony Hardware conducted training and live demonstrations on various personal protective equipment such as hard hats, respirators, eye, and hand protection as well as personal fall arrest systems.

PCC employees and apprentices of BAC Local #2 took part in the PCC Resinous flooring demonstration and training program. We had an amazing turnout. The demonstration covered polyaspartic flooring applications, industrial non-skid applications, flake, quartz, and sand broadcasts. Clear and solid color topcoats were used according to manufacturer application instructions.

Schenectady CSD Lincoln Elementary completed 2019. PCC replaced some deteriorated architectural cast stone pieces with a new technology called GFRC (Glass fiber reinforced concrete). This lightweight and extremely durable material should last for many years to come. Give us a call and see what other options we have to help on your next project.

PCC Contracting was honored to restore the exterior of the Paul Smith's Electric and Power building in beautiful Saranac, NY. Built-in 1908, the building was listed on the National Historic Registry in 1987.

We are pleased to announce that Ron C***s has recently joined the PCC team as our Vice President of Risk Management and Human Capital. Ron comes to us with more than 35 years of business and leadership experience, most of which have been spent in the construction industry in one sector or another, with his past 18 years’ focused specifically on safety, industrial hygiene and human resources. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health Management, Certificates in Human Resources and Industrial Hygiene. He has also been an OSHA outreach trainer for the last decade and holds the designation of Occupational Health & Safety Technologist (OHST) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Welcome to the PCC family Ron!
