Staff at MLK went to the MLK Lion Salon where students who had perfect attendance this week gave them makeovers!

Please remember that students will continue to go outside for recess when the weather permits.

Cold Weather Guidelines:
🧥 Please make sure your child comes prepared with a coat, hat, mittens, boots, and snow pants.
🌡️ Students will go outside every day unless the real feel temperature is 28°F or below.
💨 Weather conditions such as wind, ice, and rain will also be considered when determining if recess is indoors or outdoors.

REMINDER
All students in grades Pre-K through 5 will have a half day of school on Tuesday, November 18 and Thursday, November 20.
