Hey everyone — quick update on what's landed in Cast Sports since we soft-launched at the start of
March.

If you've been using the app over the last two months, a bunch of this came directly from your feedback.

New sports

Lacrosse, baseball, field hockey, and ice hockey are now in, each with sport-specific stat flows.
Hockey has a proper goal flow — scorer, assists, plus/minus, and power play.

Live + recorded video
You can stream live, stream and record at the same time, or record only and upload after the game.
Plus tools to move clips between games and recut stat clips.

Built for organizations

If you're running a club or league, registration is now end-to-end. Role-based menus for admins, staff,
parents, and athletes. Bulk CSV roster import. Waiver signing. Edit/delete athletes at the org level.

Onboarding redesigned

New users get a guided flow with personas. Parents can now follow every kid on every team they're
on, and cross-team career stats roll up automatically on every athlete profile.

Payments

Full Stripe integration with multi-currency support. Orgs can charge directly with transparent fee
breakdowns. Guest registrations. Program packages with capacity handling. Add-device
subscriptions through the App Store and Play Store.

Web app, fully featured

Public event pages for authed and guest viewers. Full stat tracking on web — parity with mobile.
Articles, landing page, share buttons, push notifications. Mobile-responsive throughout.

Cast Sports — Live Streaming, Stats & Team Management Stream every game, track every play, and keep fans connected. The all-in-one team management platform for coaches, parents, and fans.

We’ve seen some confusion around Cast pricing, so we wanted to clear things up.

We recently updated our pricing model. For now, please disregard any pricing you may still see in the app, as that will be updated once our latest app update is approved by the Apple Store.

Here is our current pricing model:

Cast is supported when teams or organizations use the platform to collect payments for things like travel, clinics, camps, uniforms, or any other custom charges. Our platform fee is 1.5%, plus Stripe’s 2.95% processing fee.

For livestreaming, the first device for a game is free. Any additional livestream devices for the same game are a flat $1.99 fee per device. Most teams and clubs will only need one device.

Cast is also supported through ad views and through the Premium Fan subscription, which gives fans an ad-free experience.

We hope this helps clear up any confusion, and we appreciate your patience while the updated pricing is reflected in the app.

🚨 New Feature Update: Charges & Payments Now Live 🚨

We just added a Charges feature to Cast to make it easier for clubs and organizations to collect payments from parents — all in one place.

We know every club is different:
• Some charge season or club dues
• Some charge for uniforms or equipment
• Others may charge per game, tournaments, or travel

Now, with Cast, you can:
✅ Create and send charges/invoices to parents
✅ Set due dates and categories (equipment, travel, events, etc.)
✅ Choose whether to pass processing fees to parents or absorb them
✅ Track who has paid and who hasn’t
✅ Send reminders — no more chasing payments

Everything is built directly into your organization, so you can manage teams, communication, AND payments all in one app.

🚀 We’ll be submitting this update to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store today for review. Approval typically takes a couple of days.

💻 We’re also making great progress on the web app, and we anticipate it will be available by Monday, allowing you to manage your teams and organization directly from your computer.
