Now even our city firefighters are being attacked for doing their job putting out fires in our city. It’s time that we as taxpayers demand better protection from the City of Schenectady. Our city budget does not reflect what is needed in both the police and fire service budgets.

This injustice should nauseate any fair-minded, law abiding citizen. This matter should never have seen a courtroom but in New York ONLY criminals and Illegal Aliens are protected.

An unjust outcome from a system that continues to treat law enforcement officers unjustly.
It's a sad day for law enforcement but a sadder day for those we serve because this decision and the chilling effect it will have makes everyone less safe.

Schenectady Police Detectives Attempting to Locate Missing Vulnerable Adult
The Schenectady Police Department’s Detective Division is attempting to locate a missing vulnerable adult, Ebony D. Daniel, age 48, of Schenectady. Ms. Daniel was last seen on November 5, 2025, in the area of Steinmetz Homes.
She is described as approximately 5’03” and 240 pounds. She was last seen wearing a green jacket with white fur lining, gray sweatpants, and carrying a black suitcase-style bag. Ms. Daniel
is known to frequent the Van Vranken Avenue area.
