I may have gotten sick over the weekend, but I managed to mask up to vote, and then play catchup in my studio for 10 hours straight without even a single studio helper cat. Love my scad studio but sure miss my cats!

Haven’t updated in a while so here are some scenes from my grad studio here at SCAD. It’s so fun being back on the student side of things after teaching for the past 15 (omg) years.

My wife said it best:

Wow, just wow y’all. We are overwhelmed by all the smiling familiar faces that surrounded us last night. I totally forgot to take pictures because I was so wrapped in converstations and love! If anyone has pics of the night, please send them my way!!

We are now switching gears to prepare ourselves, property and loved ones for the possible incoming storm.

We will be staying here in historic kenwood. We have a bathroom under our stairs that we convert into a little bunker with beds and comforts for us and all our critters if things get extra messy.

Reach out if y’all need anything like a high place to park, a couch to crash on, or just a game night in the next few days before the storm.

I’m so full of gratitude for all of you. you have no idea how full my heart is, feeling this community.
