Responsibilities:

•Reports directly to the Social Media Manager and works closely with SMM to acquire daily furniture selections based on popularity, customer requests, and seasonal demands.
•Performing maintenance checks on displays for quality, appearance, function, and safety.
•Building furniture displays and ensuring it is accurately presented.
•Partnering with the returns team on all damaged products and determining the best way to repurpose returned products.
•Assembles furniture showroom merchandise ensuring it is accurately presented.
•Reports to the Social Media Manager, Warehouse Manager, and Assistant General Manager.
•Collaborates with warehouse staff to complete tasks, retrieve merchandise, etc.
•Maintains a clean workstation area. Cleaning up boxes, loose trash, and damaged merchandise on a regular basis.
•Assists with loading customers’ merchandise.

Requirements:

•Valid Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation (preferred)
•Valid forklift operator certification
•Previous Retail Assembler Experience (preferred)
•Basic tool knowledge such as cordless drill, sockets, screwdriver, wrenches, hammers, box cutters, etc.
•Possesses a sense of urgency, drive for results, and initiative
•Be able to work in a warehouse environment.
•Candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision.
•1-2 years experience working in the warehouse industry (preferred)
•1 year of experience working in a customer-oriented business. Experience building, repurposing, and reassembling furniture.
•Ability to Lift up to 50lbs+
