LM Events
Wedding and Event Coordination
06/17/2026
Some venues become more than just a place to celebrate. They become part of your story.
As Soho South officially closes its doors, we're reflecting on the incredible impact it had on Savannah's wedding community and on LM Events.
Soho South was one of the first venues to truly take a chance on us. They welcomed us onto their preferred vendor list and gave couples the opportunity to hire us as their coordinator through the venue. Those early bookings helped build the foundation of LM Events, and we'll always be grateful for that support.
Over the years, we've celebrated so many unforgettable weddings within those walls. We've helped with outfit changes, coordinated surprise performances, cut beautiful cakes, and watched packed dance floors turn into the best kind of party.
What made Soho South special wasn't just the space. It was the people, the hospitality, the incredible food, and the way every couple could make the venue uniquely their own.
While Soho South may no longer be hosting weddings, its impact will live on through the countless memories created there.
Thank you, Soho South, for believing in us from the beginning. You will always hold a special place in our hearts and forever be part of the LM Events story.
The doors may be closed, but the memories will last forever. 🤍

If you’ve ever thought, “planning my own wedding would be easy if I did this for a living” I have a little secret for you.
It’s not.
From the guest list that somehow grows overnight, to learning to actually let go and trust your vendors, planning your own wedding as a wedding planner is a whole different experience.
I’m sharing the real, behind the scenes truth, what surprised me most, what actually matters at the end of the day, and why the guest list might just be the hardest part of it all.
If you’re engaged, in the middle of planning, or just love a peek behind the curtain of wedding life, this one’s for you!

Hot take from a planning call today: your wedding is not a family reunion.
When building your guest list, focus on the people who have truly been part of your story, the ones who showed up for the milestones, the everyday moments, and everything in between. If someone hasn’t been part of your life in years and doesn’t know your relationship, it’s okay to be intentional about who makes the list.
Your wedding day should feel personal, meaningful, and full of the energy that reflects your relationship. Think shared holidays, inside jokes, late night talks, and the people who’ve supported your love from the beginning.
These moments from S + J’s wedding are a glimpse into what that kind of guest list looks like, genuine, connected, and full of love.

Knowing when to book your wedding vendors can be the difference between securing your dream team or settling for what’s left.
The best vendors book out months {sometimes over a year} in advance. Especially in peak seasons here in Savannah.
And a little insider tip: we don’t recommend relying on Google timelines alone. The Lowcountry is different. Things book up much faster here, and demand can shift timelines way earlier than you’d expect!
If you’re newly engaged, this is your sign to start the conversation now so you can plan with intention instead of pressure.
Planning your wedding and not sure where to start? We’re here to guide you every step of the way 🤍

Hi new friends 🫶🏼
Figured it was time for a little reintroduction!
I’m Lea, the owner + Executive Planner behind LM Events. I started this business because I genuinely love celebrating people in love and creating weddings that feel like you from start to finish.
Swipe to meet my people ✨
Second slide is our Lead Planner, Wendy. She’s with me on almost every wedding day and truly my right hand. I could not do this without her.
Third slide is Ann, our Creative Director, and Sydney, our Assistant Coordinator. They help take all the ideas, inspiration, and big dreams and turn them into the real, beautiful details you see on wedding days.
A few fun things about me:
I live downtown, and when we actually have a free Saturday (rare, but it happens!), my fiancé and I take Bellini & Soju to the Forsyth Park Farmers’ Market for a morning walk and brunch at Collins Quarter. We also have two cats, Jameson & Bailey!
I’m recently engaged and planning my own fall wedding right now, so I’m in it with you. My fiancé and I met on Hinge, so yes… dating apps can work! I’m a huge Taylor Swift fan, love Noah Kahan, take music bingo very seriously, have a VERY strong love for the Philadelphia Eagle (go birds🦅) and always looking for a good book recommendation.
If you’re new here, I’m so happy you’re here 🤍
Tell me how you met your person in the comments!

We don’t care what the groundhog says, we’re already dreaming of spring weddings 🌸✨
Taking it back to C + D’s March celebration, which was such a joy to design with Christina. Their playful energy came through in every custom touch, tablescape, and floral moment, and we loved every second of it!!

The one thing no one loves to talk about but absolutely should? A rain plan.
Every wedding we plan has a thoughtful backup so transitions feel seamless, calm, and stress-free. Just like Amanda & Ben’s day at Hotel Emeline. When weather moved their ceremony from the courtyard to the greenhouse, it still felt just as inviting, romantic, and intentional.
Because the magic isn’t about the forecast - it’s about the feeling. ✨

✨ LM Events Holiday Party Recap ✨
This weekend we celebrated our team the best way we know how - by making a day of it! 🥂
We kicked things off with brunch at (because $15 bottomless mimosas + fun brunch bites are always a win). Then we popped into to restock our post wedding relaxation essentials before heading to to make candles. From crafting custom scents to designing labels and pouring wax, it was such a fun, creative stop for our crew!
We wouldn’t be able to celebrate moments like these without the incredible couples who trust us to bring their wedding dreams to life. THANK YOU for an amazing year!!! We hope you had the happiest holiday season 🤍✨
