Such a great productive week.

Kayden and the Figur machine are making quick work of Frank’s Chevelle hood project.

Great fit, only two pieces, and a ton of time saved compared to traditional methods. This is exactly where digital forming technology shines — faster development, cleaner results, and less unnecessary assembly.

Huge thanks to Beau for the cad work and Brett for running the part and helping make it all come together. Really cool seeing the process, technology, and craftsmanship all working together to push these builds forward.

The Start ’55 Chevy is honored to receive the Tri-Five Pick today from the great people at Goodguys Rod & Custom Association.

What an incredible honor with so many absolutely beautiful Tri-Fives here at such an amazing venue. The craftsmanship, creativity, and passion surrounding these cars is what makes this hobby and community so special.

Very thankful to everyone involved in bringing this car to life and appreciative of all the support throughout the weekend. Nashville has been incredible.

Frank’s ’65 Chevelle ran into a pretty serious hood clearance issue with the massive Whipple-supercharged LT engine sitting down in the Roadster Shop chassis. Rather than compromise the package, we went to work.

The team scanned the factory hood, designed a solution that looked like it could have come from GM themselves, and turned it over to the Figur G15 to produce a completely new hood insert ready to be welded in.

This is exactly where technology and craftsmanship collide. Digital design, precision forming, and then the human touch to make it all flow naturally into the original hood lines.

Brett absolutely knocked this one out of the park making the entire process happen from concept to finished panel. The new insert gives us the clearance we needed while keeping the Chevelle aggressive, clean, and proportional.

One-off problems require one-off solutions. This is the kind of work that keeps pushing SaltWorks forward.

The Trim Shop continues to raise the bar on a very special Maserati project for an incredible customer who trusts us to get every detail right.

This level of work is never about one big moment—it’s about hundreds of small decisions made correctly along the way. Material selection, pattern development, fitment, stitching, finish work, and final assembly… every step matters, and the team is treating each phase of the process with the care it deserves.

That commitment is how great outcomes happen. No shortcuts, no guesswork—just craftsmanship, pride, and a clear focus on delivering something exceptional.

Proud of what the Trim Shop is building and even more proud of the standard they continue to set every day. DetailsMatter CustomInterior QualityFirst

Precision matters in custom trim work. Complex, multi-directional, long-run pieces like these don’t happen by accident—they take planning, machining strategy, patience, and a sharp eye for detail.

Brett absolutely delivered on this project for another hot rod shop, turning a challenging concept into clean, accurate parts ready for the next stage. This is the kind of behind-the-scenes craftsmanship most people never see, but it’s what separates average from exceptional.

Proud of the talent in our shop and grateful for the trust from fellow builders who count on us when the work has to be right.

The Scout is getting real close.

Fabrication is wrapping up, and this one’s about to make the move into both paint and trim—at the same time. One of the biggest advantages of having everything in-house is control. No waiting. No handoffs. Just a seamless push forward with the same standard carried through every department.

Corey and Kayden have taken this build to a whole new level. The craftsmanship, the problem solving, the ex*****on—it’s exactly what pushing the bar looks like when the right people are in the right seats.

This build has been all about ex*****on, and it shows in the details. The integration of the Jeep One-Touch Power Top is a perfect example—refined, dialed, and honestly working better than factory. Smooth operation, clean fitment, and fully serviceable like everything we do.

We’re right at that turning point where all the planning, structure, and craftsmanship start coming together fast.

Next stop—color, texture, and final form.

We’re looking forward to putting this one in the ring for 4x4 of the Year with Goodguys Rod & Custom Association.
