Together with our German distributor MuH von der Linden GmbH, we conducted a series of joint customer visits and technical training sessions across Northern Germany.

During the visits, we met with professional teak deck manufacturers, applicators, refit specialists, and yacht industry professionals to discuss best practices, product performance, application techniques, and current market trends.

These visits provided valuable opportunities to share technical knowledge, strengthen relationships, and gather direct feedback from experienced users working on high-end marine projects.

Teakdecking Systems was honored to be part of the restoration of the legendary USS Iowa, the famous “Battleship of Presidents.” 🇺🇸

The USS Iowa served through WWII, the Korean War, and beyond, becoming one of the most recognized battleships in American naval history.

For the restoration project, advanced composite decking was selected to provide durability, reduced maintenance, repairability, and long-term preservation benefits while helping protect the future of this historic vessel. ⚓🪵

We are proud to have contributed to preserving a ship that represents courage, sacrifice, and American history.

Teakdecking Systems was proud to play a role in the restoration of the legendary USS North Carolina, one of the most decorated American battleships of World War II.

Known as the “Showboat,” the USS North Carolina earned 15 battle stars during WWII and served in nearly every major naval offensive in the Pacific theater before becoming a memorial dedicated to those who served. Today, the battleship stands as a lasting tribute to courage, sacrifice, and American history.

It was an honor for the TDS team to contribute to the preservation of such an iconic vessel and help ensure future generations can continue to experience this important piece of naval history. 🇺🇸

Teakdecking Systems was proud to take part in the restoration of the historic USS Alabama by replacing sections of the original 80-year-old teak deck aboard the legendary WWII battleship.

The massive project covered more than 21,000 square feet of decking and required detailed engineering, fabrication in Sarasota, and thousands of hours of hands-on craftsmanship by the TDS team. 🪵⚓

While preserving the integrity of this American icon, the project also helped ensure future generations can continue to experience and remember an important piece of naval history. 🇺🇸

Teakdecking Systems was honored to be selected by the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park to undertake the restoration of the iconic teak deck aboard the legendary USS Alabama.

The ambitious multi-year project involved replacing the battleship’s original 80-year-old teak decking across more than 21,000 square feet. The process included detailed digitization and engineering, fabrication at the TDS Sarasota facility, and thousands of hours of precision craftsmanship during installation onboard the historic vessel.

Projects like this go beyond marine construction. They help preserve American history and honor the legacy of those who served aboard these legendary ships. 🇺🇸
