Loving Farm is an animal sanctuary located in Santa Rosa in Northern California.

We give love and lifetime care to over 50 rescued animals: pigs, cows, sheep, goats, turkeys, chickens, roosters, horses, dogs and cats. To educate the public and influence change toward compassionate treatment of ALL animals, and the Planet, by encouraging a plant-based lifestyle. To protect and care for farmed animals saved from slaughter and cats and dogs who have been neglected, abused and abandoned.

💝🦸🏻‍♂️🎁Our Co-Founder Bill Soucy is asking for ONE THING for his birthday. Donations to help care for our 50 rescued animals! Every day they need food, medications, safe and secure shelters, fencing, and and and…the list is LONG!

Bill’s birthday wish is very unselfish and EVERY dollar helps!

Please make a one time donation, or a monthly donation, or become a Member, and/or like, comment and share Bill’s Birthday Fundraiser. (Linktree in bio)

I don’t believe anyone works harder or could give more time and love to animals in need. Bill is🌱VEGAN🌱because of the animals he loves so much. Bill doesn’t take time off. Bill doesn’t get vacations. He is always on call and ready to do whatever is needed to keep these animals safe and happy.

🙏PLEASE DONATE and wish Bill a very Happy Birthday!🎉🎂🥳🎁💝

Pictured: Just a few of my favorite photos of Bill with some of our LFAS family members (and slogging around in the mud last winter!💩) An example of hard work!)🦸🏻‍♂️💪❤️

LFAS is run 100% on monetary donations. Can you donate toward the lifetime care of our 50 rescued animals?

❤️🐓🏡Meet our newest LFAS family member! Her new sanctuary name is SuzieQ. If you know the song made famous by Creedence Clearwater you will know why we gave her this name! “Oh SuzieQ baby I love you!

Normally LFAS does not take “owner surrenders” (because we need to be prepared to rescue animals in danger of being slaughtered) but…we were persistently contacted by a military family. Their itty bitty hen had been alone (after her best friend🐓died) for quite a while and now the family was getting transferred to the East Coast. They were desperate to find SuzieQ a safe forever home.

We agreed to take SuzieQ sight unseen but when she arrived we discovered she is much smaller than any hen or rooster we have ever rescued. So this presents a few challenges to keep her safe and contained during her quarantine. And…when it’s time to integrate her into our flock it may not work because of her diminutive size. But we will figure it out!

***Meanwhile, if you hear of any small hens (2 pounds or less) in need of rescue we want to know!

Please make a comment welcoming SuzieQ to LFAS. She is a super adorable tiny girl with a huge personality! And…she needs a sponsor!

❤️🐑❤️Just look at Bennett’s sweet face. How can anyone think of sheep as “food” or “products?” Sheep are so huggable!

Our sheep are always kind and friendly and interested in everything we do. Sometimes I feel them staring at me because they are naturally social and curious.

Please don’t eat lamb or buy wool. Sheep deserve to live long happy lives. They don’t deserve to be exploited and slaughtered.

I love you Bennett!❤️

🦃🦃Seeing these beauties start their day so energetically and joyfully makes my heart sing! How lucky am I? I get to enjoy this cuteness every morning. What a treat!

Turkeys are delightful companion animals. They are friendly and smart and curious. They are NOT “food!”

Back story: Lovely Fernanda and Paulina were rescued years ago from a horrific factory farm getting ready to slaughter baby turkeys for Thanksgiving. Reminder: There are so many delicious plant based options there’s no good reason to eat animals.🤮

🐔🐔🐔Roosters are awesome “man chickens.” We have a total of 5 roosters at LFAS and we adore them. But…we are full. We cannot take more roosters!

These 3 friendly, wonderful boys of ours (Marvin, Maxwell and Mitchell) were literally “thrown out” on a busy road. The heartlessness is truly shocking.💔

Why are roosters neglected, abused and abandoned? Because people only want girl chickens. Because people want eggs. Ugh.🤮

NOTE: DON’T BUY BABY CHICKS. STORES AND BREEDERS ARE LYING WHEN THEY SAY THE CHICKS ARE ALL GIRLS. ADOPT HENS FROM SHELTERS AND RESCUES AND GIVE THEM FOREVER HOMES! PLEASE!
