Rotary Club of Santa Rosa

Arrived in Taipei for the convention. The weather is a little drizzly, but comfortable. No jacket required, but an umbrella is required. Jim and I are staying at Fulton Hotel Taipei East. This is our first full day here. We went to the Taipei Zoo and up to Maokong for tea. Tonight we are going to a night market.

Public Safety Award Program hosted by Craig Meltzner

Annually we look forward to our Rotary Club Public Safety Awards program, initiated by our late Club member Lee Abramson during the Club presidency of Stephen Olson.

The program was subsequently named the Lee Abramson Public Service Award in his honor. Since 1995 we have annually recognized the outstanding City of Santa Rosa firefighter and police officer and, more recently County Sheriff’s officer, for their contributions to keep our communities safe.

This year we will honor Nathan Dilly with the award presented by Fire Chief Scott Westrope; Police Officer John Crespan award presented by Police Chief John Cregan; and Lieutenant Brent Kidder presented by Sheriff Eddie Engram.
