The Youth Empowerment Council was created to give voice to our community's youth and utilize leadership skills to make a lasting impact.
With teens from all over Sonoma County, the Youth Empowerment Council has worked on securing 2 seats on the Health Action board, which were granted in 2013 and will be active in the Fall of 2014. We are always looking for additional teens who are interested in becoming more involved in their community. Work session tonight at the TLT office for those interested in participating in the Youth Empowerment and Leadership Conference. We will be there from 5 to 6pm
The Youth Empowerment Council is extremely excited to be hosting a DINE event this Friday. The topic is civic participation, and we are all interested on hearing the opinions on civic involvement.
