So much gratitude to the team from Baker Tilly US for coming out and volunteering at The Living Room last week ❤️🛋️

As a part of their annual volunteer day, Baker Tilly's Santa Rosa office came out and helped tend our garden. We all rolled up our sleeves, weeded the garden, pruned some trees, and even did some power washing. It really is amazing what a dedicated team can accomplish in a couple hours!

What a stunning harvest! Fresh, organic, lovingly grown lettuce from the gardens of volunteers and donors straight to the plates of our Life Center and pantry program participants. 🥬💚🥗

We are always grateful to be the recipients of such donations. Thank you Chris and Roxy!

Thanks to the generosity of the community we were able to distribute back to school supplies to 70 families last week!
We're so happy to send these kids off to class with the items they need for a successful year. 📒✏️🎒

Meet our Director of Operations, Elisa! She is the jill of all trades for The Living Room.

Most days you’ll find her working with our amazing volunteers and local vendors, maintaining our housing, thrift store, administration, and kitchen properties to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely. She’ll also jump in to support other staff and responsibilities to keep the flow of The Living Room’s mission moving forward.

She truly believes everyone deserves safety, stability, and a real chance to thrive and she’s proud to be a part of making that happen every day!

When she isn’t working at the living room, she's at home gardening with her son, hiking with friends, or feeding her beautiful wife a delicious home cooked meal.

Last weekend the Life Center was host to classic cars, pinups, fresh tacos, and a delivery of school supplies!
Huge thank yous to Cruisin' North Car Club Inc. of Sonoma County for bringing some amazing cars, to the NorCal PinUp Girls for their boundless generosity, and to Tata Chef for the delicious food!

Because of this event we are able to distribute backpacks and supplies to the kids of The Life Center so that they can go back to school in style!

Our garden is bursting with beautiful vegetables, and there's something truly special about sharing food we've grown with our community. 🥕🌿🍅

Every harvest is a reminder that nourishment begins with care. From the garden to the kitchen to the table, fresh food becomes warm meals, hope, and connection for the women, children, and seniors we serve.

There really is something beautiful about feeding people food that we've grown together. ❤️🛋️
