Our Fourth of July celebration is fast approaching, and the We The People Community Quilt Project envisioned and guided by Pamela Van Halsema is coming together through the countless hours of work by so many incredible volunteers. The finished quilt will be a moving testament to our country, its promise, and our part in developing the promise. It will be a work of art to savor and love. Congratulations to everyone involved! I can hardly wait to see the finished product.

Congressman Ro Khanna was a surprise speaker, supporting Steyer's plans for California, while our local Congressman Jared Huffman introduced Steyer, comparing him to former Governor Jerry Brown in his "2.0" phase.
