Even though we haven’t posted as much on Instagram lately (we promise more posts to come!) we are busy at work restocking seeds and getting many exciting, new & rare seeds coming your way—-now and with more to follow. Our inventory remains much lower than normal, due to the COVID-19 situation, but many seeds are already on hand and are being packed & added daily. Pictured is an amazing Jaboticaba in full fruit, with tasty, sweet, grape-like fruits.

Check out the fruits on this Açaí Palm (Euterpe oleracea)! The delicious, nutritional fruits have become very popular in smoothies and bowls. The trees can get huge—100ft even, but the Para Dwarf variety is much smaller (20 ft) making harvesting so much easier!

These are Cashew Apples. The curled, dark thing at the bottom is the (very delicious) cashew nut! But here’s where it gets more confusing: the red “fruit” isn’t technically a fruit, but a hypocarp—the real fruit is the hard nut with shell. The “fruit” (ok...hypocarp) is edible and sweet. Stranger still, this plant is related to poison ivy and the shell of the nut is a skin allergen! Plants are amazing!

Kona White Dragon Fruit - this is a tasty variety! Much sweeter than some of the common market types, it has a mild flavor that transports you to the tropics.
