United Generator LLC

Mike junior the best generator technician in Northern California, accomplished the impossible today. Once again, he took a generator that nobody else could get running and made it per like a kitten. The generator was turned off by the owner two years ago because it was not running properly. She finally got around to calling us.And we made the trip down to Mill Valley from Santa Rosa. We had to do a full service, replace the stepper motor, the oil pressure sensing unit, and most importantly the spark plugs. With all the new parts, it still wouldn't run correctly. The plugs looked brand new that somebody else put in, but they were not working. Once Mike replaced the plugs, the unit ran like a happy purring kitten!

I'd like to state that the zombie box that was installed to make this Generac generator quieter contributed to many of the problems that the customer was experiencing. Zombie Boxes are a huge, no no to generator technicians. And as far as Generac is concerned, the instant you put it on you have voided the warranty. They are not allowed by Generac, period. These devices do quiet down the generators, but they absolutely destroy them at the same time. They prevent proper air circulation. The proper air circulation was designed over many, many years of research and development. Please do not install these on your generators. If you have one, remove it immediately or suffer the consequences.

If you want to confirm what i'm saying by calling Generac, please do. If you're looking for Generac technical support for a generator, the main U.S. customer support number is 1-888-GENERAC (1-888-436-3722)

I want to want to give mikey kudos. Good job Mikey! We are so proud of you at United Generator. You are the reason that out of hundreds of reviews over 20 years we have 4.95 Stars. The customers love you 💯 percent. Please keep it up.
