One of the many things our beloved founder, Alberto Migliardi, was known for was his relentless drive in pushing the boundaries of packaging. Before his passing, he helped lead the APS Packaging team in engineering and installing a fully automated 300 BPM packaging line for the Duckhorn Portfolio.
Our largest and fastest line yet, the Duckhorn line was designed to handle both reshipper and bulk formats. As Duckhorn's production demands increased, our team rose to the challenge, delivering a solution that met every one of our clients’ needs.
Alberto always believed that great partnerships were built on strong relationships. At APS, we consider our clients family and treat every one of them with the highest level of respect and care. His philosophy continues to guide us through the leadership of his wife and APS's CEO, Nicole Leahu, as we continue to work alongside our partners to continue innovating, growing, and creating lasting success together.
The 6th annual Par Then Bar Open golf tournament was a huge success! Over 30 wine and spirits companies participated in this one-of-a-kind event that brought business to the golf range. 🏌️♂️

🍇 Two weeks ago, APS Packaging took part in a conference at the UC Davis Department of Viticulture and Enology to examine some of the challenges facing today’s grape and wine industries!
⚙️ APS discussed the reasons why more and more wineries are looking towards automation, and why it is beneficial to have these new technologies in the workplace.

⚙️ We’re excited to welcome our new Chief Technical Officer: Oscar Ramirez to the APS team!
🍇 With over 20 years of experience in the wine industry, Oscar brings a deep understanding of bottling, production, and mechanical maintenance to the APS technical team.
👋 Oscar has extensive hands-on knowledge of all APS machinery, and we’re thrilled to have him join us! His expertise will play a key role in helping us provide broader technical support to prevent issues in existing lines, and it will also help us improve process efficiency thanks to his experience as a user.

🦀 We had the honor of being St. Rose’s Presenting Sponsor for this year’s annual Crab Feed.
📚 APS loves to support education and, this year, we were able to help raise enough money to adopt a new math program for the kids at St. Rose!
🗓️ In celebration of Good Friday and doing good in our community, APS will be closed this Friday 4/3. Normal business hours will resume on Monday 4/6.

🍇 Wineries are welcome to play in the tournament for free! A completed foursome per winery is required. 1 team per winery. Single players are still encouraged to apply in case of spot availability.
