We're absolutely thrilled to announce the return of our Sauvignon Blanc. A varietal becoming more popular every year, and ours sells out appropriately. This vintage has great depth of flavor and wonderful balance. It shines in just about any menu it's paired along with. And remarkable for indulging solo by the glass! https://www.cosaobra.com/wines/list/cosa-obra/2022-sauvignon-blanc

Inspired by another outstanding harvest last Fall, we made a little more Sauvignon Blanc and Rose to go around. This refreshing pair are just now begging to shine. We'll be reaching for these early and often in the coming months, and we hope you will too.

I have to say this may be one of our best Rose wines we've ever made. The growing season of 2018 in Sonoma, especially throughout harvest in Carneros was mild. As a result the gentle weather on the vines allowed more vibrancy, and a yield of exceptional Pinot. www.cosaobra.com

We're proud to announce that both 2015 & 2016 were some of the finest vintages of Pinot Noir we had the pleasure of making. 2015 was so good, we held back a couple of our favorite barrels of Pinot Noir, and created a limited "Reserve" bottling for those that enjoy fuller bodied Pinot Noir. www.cosaobra.com

Last night we paired our Sauvignon Blanc with halibut and asparagus with a blood orange vinaigrette to enhance the citrus in our wine, it was a match made in heaven!

These are tartrate crystals, sometimes called wine diamonds and chemically known as potassium bitartrate. They are formed when tartaric acid, a natural component found in grapes as well as bananas, binds with potassium under cold conditions to form a crystalline salt.
Do not be alarmed if they show up in your bottle or wine glass or on your cork, as they are viewed by many winemakers, sommeliers and academics as a sign of quality, indicating that the wine has not been overprocessed.

Our Story
Our winemaking approach is simple; make exceptional wine from carefully selected artisan vineyards that express Sonoma Coast's unique character.
The name COSA OBRA is comprised of two words:
COSA meaning "thing" and
OBRA meaning "a hand-crafted body of work"
“This is our thing, this is what we do, our hand-crafted body of work”
