Does anyone else have dog that asks you to hold their bones/chews for them? Allie has always wanted “ help “. I don’t know if it was learned from Allie, but Moxi will ask for help now too. First, Moxi will drop it, throw it, pounce on it and hold it herself. 😂
What are some of your favorite things to stuff in a Kong? We like to use freeze dried meats and organs and nut butter, plain yogurt and even cheese. I find that if you layer different things and than freeze the Kong, they last longer.

Today we went to Headwaters Reserve in Eureka. We have been working with her on “ check in “. Which means to come touch my hand with her nose and go back to playing. It’s one thing when we train, but today we got to put our hard work to good use! I am so proud that Moxi chose to come flying back to me when there was all manner of distractions. Positive training works!

I went to Jaanu’s house for the first time today. It broke her doggy brain a bit. 😂 She has always boarded with us and is always the perfect angel. Turns out she has been being super good with us and a turd for her parents. Well they are now in on it too sweet girl.

These were my 2 clients today. Moco and BeBe. Both are puppies and both were working on leash walking today. Positive reinforcement can be used to train dogs of any and all sizes and temperaments!!
