Troop 707

The troop went on a bike trip to San Francisco. We took the Sausalito Ferry, biked to Crissy Field and then crossed over the Golden Gate Bridge.

The troop had a great experience at Camporee. The Snakeopolins and Fire Breathing Foxes enjoyed the events and competition.

Bodega Dunes 2025: orienteering, Dutch oven calzones, a walk to the beach for football tossing and driftwood structures, slingshots with foam balls in the dunes, a digging project, fire lighting with a bow drill, a lot of good food, and very few rain drops. Fun!

Last week, the troop completed Cooper's Eagle Project. They installed benches and did some landscaping next to the play area at Windsor Christian Academy. It will make it a lot easier for parents and kids to watch other kids while they are using the play area.

This week, 6 scouts and 2 adult leaders
formed a crew and went on a Sea Base High Adventure
in the Florida Keys. They went to Munson Island for 4
days of camping. They canoed, kayaked, snorkeled,
and fished. They ate the smaller fish they caught, but
had to return the 4 sharks they caught back to the sea.
It was a fantastic experience.

Tonight we had a fun 5-mile hike with compass lessons in Annadel followed by a burger dinner and other yummy food. 6 of our scouts, plus two fearless leaders, are currently in Florida at Sea Base Camp.

Troop 707 enjoyed a relaxing campout at Stillwater Cove. The scouts explored the beach, hiked in the woods and practiced their cooking skills.
