We recently completed the Congregation Rodef Sholom Building in San Rafael CA. Our scope of work was structural steel framing, steel stairs, laser cut guardrails/sunshades, railings and a pretty cool corten water feature, among other miscellaneous steel items. It was logistically a challenging project, but came out great in the end.

Check out the incredible work the Ahlborn crew has completed this time! Our scope on the Mary Covillaud Elementary School project included 2 sets of 40’ one piece powder coated stair railings with integrated handrails and BOK Modern panels. The second story guardrail along the front of the building walkway and exterior access gates include BOK accent panels as well.

We are thrilled to share that we had the honor of contributing to the beautiful new China Basin park in San Francisco! Our team installed sturdy handrails, guardrails, structural steel, and fencing along the stunning shoreline near the Giants baseball arena. Check out the photos from the grand opening and see how our work enhances the safety and beauty of this amazing public space.

Check out our Carnival Wharf project in Long Beach. This retrofit job was successful due to the fact that we detailed with several field surveys and had to adjust around discrepancies between each of them. The steel framing connected between the Wharf Dolphins at a functioning cruise line dock extending across the water. Incredibly, all the steel framing and deck plates hit without any errors thanks to our amazing Ahlborn crew.

Setting 110ft long trusses weighing 10 tons each at our Sierra College gymnasium job in Rocklin, shipped full length. To put the 110ft in perspective, that is approximately 36 yards, the average loss of yards when Nick Bosa sacks Dak Prescott.

Attached are some pictures of the recently completed Library and Parks and Recreation building in South San Francisco. Ahlborn’s scope was miscellaneous metals consisting of some challenging canopy’s, stairs, railings and play yard fence.

Check out some pictures of the 2055 Lombard St parking structure façade we completed in San Francisco. This was a Design Build project for the City of San Francisco. The project scope was to clad the existing post tensioned concrete structure with a new BOK Modern Aluminum façade. Ahlborn and BOK worked hand in hand in the design and fabrication of the panels and supporting structure to create a unique and fresh façade that Lombard Street can enjoy for years to come.

Check out this small but difficult retrofit handrail and glass guardrail project at Kaiser Hospital in Santa Rosa CA. This system has a Custom Fabricated Stainless steel handrail that maximizes the tight tolerances required for retrofit of any existing stair.
