Please welcome our new Pharmacist, Edwina Gutierrez-Olivas, to the Guadalupe County Hospital Team!!

Edwina Gutierrez-Olivas is a New Mexico Native and a 2014 graduate of the University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy. With 16 years of experience in the pharmacy industry, Edwina has spent her career with Smith’s Food and Drug, serving diverse communities across Los Lunas, Albuquerque, and Taos.

Returning to her hometown of Santa Rosa marks a significant “full circle” moment in her career. Edwina is deeply committed to providing high-quality care this community deserves, grounded in belief that strong provider-patient relationships are the foundation of better health outcomes. She is passionate about supporting her team, improving pharmacy services, and helping patients better understand and manage their medications.

Beyond the pharmacy, Edwina enjoys life with her husband of 30 years, their children, and their two grandchildren. She is honored to contribute to the growth and health of the community where much of her family lives, and she looks forward to making new friends throughout the community.
