BONE LOGIC - Fred’s weekly bone drop.💀🦴

Not all pelvises are built the same — and those structural differences can influence movement, stability, posture, and mobility.

This week’s bone drop breaks down some of the key differences between the male and female pelvis and why understanding anatomy matters in movement practice.

Because learning your body changes the way you move through it.

Your pelvis is your second brain — and in midlife, it works overtime. Most of us were never taught how to connect with it.

Let’s change that.

In this video, I’m showing you a simple way to feel your pelvis in motion so you can move with more ease, strength, and awareness.

Movement makes me mentally strong. Rest restores what effort uses.

Cardio challenges my mind just as much as my body — focus, discipline, breath, resilience. Some days motivation is high, some days it’s discipline carrying the team. But I never regret choosing movement.

And just as much as I need strength… I need nervous system support.

That’s why the sensory lounge has become part of my wellness habits. It’s where I shift out of fight‑or‑flight, regulate, and actually let my body exhale.

Strong mind. Strong body. Supported nervous system.

If you’re craving both strength and deep rest, the sensory lounge is here for you.

Your health is an investment-start somewhere.

Happy Mother’s Day. I couldn’t imagine life without the honor of being a mom. It isn’t always easy, but watching your child(ren) grow is one of life’s greatest gifts.

“Mom” is more than just a word or a title — it’s comfort, strength, sacrifice, patience, guidance, and unconditional love.

BONE LOGIC — Fred’s weekly bone drop. 💀

The pelvis is one of the most important structures in the body — and one we don’t talk about nearly enough.

During my teacher training, I remember describing the pelvis as a “second brain.” And honestly… that’s exactly how it feels once you understand its role in movement, balance, and support.

The pelvic girdle is made up of the sacrum and the hip bones — which are actually three fused bones (ilium, ischium, p***s).

More important than memorizing the names is understanding the function: It’s your weight‑bearing foundation. It transfers force from your upper body to your legs. It stabilizes you when you walk, run, twist, or balance. It’s central to how you move and how you feel.

Learning the structure helps you connect to your body in a deeper, more functional way. It’s pretty amazing when you think about how much it does for you every day.

If you want to learn more (including the differences between the male and female pelvis), follow along — I’ll be sharing more in this educational series.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 🤍

Midlife can be a powerful chapter… and also a vulnerable one.

Hormonal shifts, life transitions, and the invisible mental load can show up in ways we don’t always expect—anxiety, low mood, poor sleep, or just not feeling like yourself.

Mental health doesn’t discriminate.
It can affect anyone, at any stage, often behind the scenes.

This isn’t talked about enough:
Women ages 45–54 have the highest rates of su***de compared to any other time in life.

If you’ve ever felt off, overwhelmed, or not quite like you—you’re not alone.

Movement has been one of my anchors.
Not as a fix-all, but as a steady, supportive tool—helping regulate mood, reduce stress, and reconnect to my body.

Small things count. A walk. Stretching. Breathing. Showing up.

And if you’re struggling—please don’t do it alone 🤍

I’ve been teaching Pilates for about five years, and I still catch myself wondering if I’m supposed to have a specialty by now.

I’ve invested in trainings that have shaped me — Safe Movement for All Spines, weekly Pilates hour with , and my comprehensive training from in Boulder. All of it has expanded how I see the body, but I have yet to feel a pull toward a single niche.

This morning, while teaching a client, I found myself talking about how differently we all move and live in our bodies. No two people walk into the studio with the same history, the same patterns, or the same relationship to movement.

As teachers, we can’t expect every body to move like ours. How we show up — with patience, curiosity, and presence — matters more than any choreography.

I was doing some reading on proprioception and kinesthesia — the ways we sense ourselves in space. And it reminded me that maybe my “specialty” isn’t a population or a protocol.

Maybe it’s helping people get curios and feel at home in their bodies. Meeting them where they are. Honoring the whole person in front of me.

That feels like enough.

Ask yourself or your client, what part of your body feels the most awake today.
