This selfie was taken in the middle of a cold read of a script. A script that’s only meant to be performed an actor who’s never read it. And the script told me to take the selfie.
And it was all insane.

Hats off to Jeremy Dobrich and and all the people making theater that turns everything on its head.

15 years ago I helped found with friends from NYU. Not to be dramatic but the thing has survived like a newborn in a war zone a la Children of Men, passed from unlikely hero to unlikely hero, each giving it all to ensure its survival. Our heroes have been then then along with . And now .janiceamaya , and our new Interim Executive Director .

Last week we celebrated the moment, and joined me to belt a song about change.

I love this company. I’m grateful to its stewards over the years, to our mentors and champions , to our rock solid board determined to keep this baby growing, to all y’all who’ve seen and loved our shows, and to . I’m glad things are in your capable hands, and I’m thrilled to see where you take us.

My first equity show in New York. Almost every good thing and person in my career today can somehow be traced back to it. I’ve been thinking about that domino chain a lot recently, and grateful for the first one that fell, with critical nudges from who was like “hey Seth they’re looking for a super tall guy who can play 16” and .homayoun who helped me prep the audition.

Hands down, the most fun I’ve had onstage.
