Meet Golbou Ghassemieh, our Operations Manager and Senior HR & OD Management Consultant!
With over 19 years of experience as a human resources leader and professional, golbou began her career in the private sector first with a small, local executive search firm, and then worked as an HR Manager with a large retailer before moving into government work. golbou served as a Deputy Director and Director at County and City agencies in the public sector before becoming a consultant in 2018.
golbou, who does not capitalize her name for personal and cultural reasons, joined The Personnel Perspective (TPP) in her current role in April of 2022 where she is helping make the vision for TPP a reality. She brings her experience overseeing large HR divisions including recruitment, training and workforce development, risk management, leave administration, HRIS and reporting, and everything else related to the day-to-day HR operations including strategic HR. Some of her training-related projects included creating competency-based training models and working with staff to create and vet training and projects in a variety of areas such as leadership, safety, anti-harassment, unconscious bias, performance management, legal hiring, supervisory and management among many others. golbou is also a diversity practitioner and has developed and deployed diversity-based trainings and initiatives on subjects such as Diversity Awareness, Implicit Bias, Inclusivity and others, and she also serves as a speaker.
When golbou isn’t helping her clients, she spends time enjoying simple pleasures like spending time with her family, organizing get-togethers with neighbors and friends, and reading all the nerdy brain science she can get her hands on.
