Our goal: Getting ALL children water safe! It looks different for every child, but as coaches, it’s our job to meet them where they are.
What do adaptive swim lessons look like? It can be different for every child but we always emphasize and teach independent aquatic safety skills. This can include:
💧How to effectively hold their breath
💧Sitting and standing by themselves in the water
💧Holding onto the wall and “monkey crawling” to a safe spot in the pool
💧Learning how to problem solve and navigate the pool without help.
